Scenario:A gigantic drop of water falls from the firmament and strikes the site of Zabeel Park.
After the impact, it rises again, taking with it a layer of black oil in the form of a Ghutra!
This “creature” solidifies at the apex of its rebound. The drop puts down roots and now presides majestically and benevolently over the centre of Dubai.
In daylight, the head of the drop evokes the precious mother of pearl of an oyster and reflects the history of a country and its people.
Like an Iqal, panoramic coronation binds the heights of this sculptured monument which becomes a symbol for the new kingdom of water.
